The Knight's Armament Precision QD Base works with the Harris Engineering Swivel Bipods. The QD Base replaces the mounting plate on the bipod, attaching to the swivel mechanism on the bipod.
This mount allows the weapon to yaw which makes multiple target acquisition much easier than a fixed mount. The yaw motion can be locked with the built-in locking lever.
The mount works on standard picatinny (Mil-Spec 1913) rails. It slides on the rail and is locked in position with the spring loaded locking bar.
